I have always wondered how best to showcase the myriad colours of india. As a result, simple exercises in photographing colours & textures out of sheer curiosity and pleasure, led to curating of these several captures that eventually started to fit into their respective colour families. I love looking at India's vibrance this way - as simple colour matrixes of textures, forgotten details and life all around. Many of the images have their connections to the monsoon season, hence the name of the series.
